| One of our major functions as a Sea Scout task force is to encourage and assist in the starting of new Sea Scout ships. |
| Our goal is to make Sea Scouting available to every high school youth who wants to learn or improve boating/sailing skills through participation in a traditional, values-based, nautical program of the Boy Scouts of America. |

| If you are a youth of high school age, you can get things going by getting at least four of your friends to join with you in learning more about the program and what it takes to get started.
